Suraya’s

[/size] footsteps muffled by the sound of the tunes emanating from the club carried her through the front door and around back to where her gear was stored. At least here Ryuu could not get near it and it would survive a while longer. Greeting the barmen on her way she winked at the dj on decks knowing she had another ten minutes before she took over. Her zippo flicked open and lit the cigarette she removed from her pack in her pocket. A deep inhale as she opened the various cases selecting the different cd’s she would use for mixing. Her vinyl were too precious to bring to this place and she reserved those for special functions such as her own private parties.

Each cd was carefully selected, Suraya only played the nights the club played emo or metal tunes. Anything pop related and she was in the next state. Cigarette finished she stomped it out before making her way with the box of choice to the decks. A brief conversation with Edison the other dj before she took over. Disc one was slotted into the first drive while a mixer was selected for the second. Sometimes the emo music actually sounded majorly sweet when infiltrated with a trance like sound from an old ravers set she loved.

The first to blast out was Paramore’s Ignorance, holding the headphones to her ears her long fingers flipped the switches to tune from Edison’s song choice to her own. The switch done neatly and with precision one melding into the other Suraya scanned the room as Mercury one of the many bartenders handed her a glass of schnapps. The club was busy, bodies packed solidly like cattle at market. It was going to be a good night she could tell. The tunes slipped through her fingers effortlessly, time passing as 30 Seconds to Mars, Benton Falls, Cobra Starship, Something Corporate, Fall Out Boy, Grey Matter, I am Ghost and many others made the play.
With every second song Mercury who had a major soft spot for the slave girl plied her with her favorite party drink hoping to strike it lucky afterwards.

A smile and a tap on her shoulder announced the arrival of her colleague Edison coming back to finish the night out. Closing her case of discs, packing it back in the outer room reserved for their gear Suraya made her way outside to the bar. Another glass of schnapps would not go astray.

[/b] he said to the bartender as he slid some money across the table. His first vodka drink of the night, Rayder slowly finished the alcoholic beverage. Suddenly one of his friends slammed him on the back and almost made him spit out the last of the vodka in his mouth. "What the f---" Rayder immediately turned around, yelling at his friend angrily, but could not even finish the cursing before his friend interrupted him. "Dude, why are you sitting here drinking by yourself man? We got a booth, booze and chicks, bro," his friend was clearly was too happy to be sober. "And these chicks, bro, these are legit chicks bro! Come on dude, let's go, let's go, let's go!"

Although he wasn't actually looking to hook up with anyone tonight, Rayder had to humor his somewhat obnoxious friend. This always happens, and Rayder always had to just get in on the fun, and get out before clothes start to come off. Well, not always. Getting up and turning around, Rayder noticed the DJ who up on the stage, and before he could form any thought about anything, his friend shouted into his ear. "Bro, that chick looks fucking weird!" A bit surprised, Rayder looked at the DJ a bit longer. "Shit, that's a chick? Holy shit, she looks like guy from here." This was actually not the first time Rayder had mistaken someone for the gender that they were not, at even closer distances too. Needless to say, the DJ had left an impression on him.

Walking in the midst of the ocean of bodies, in the non-gloomy sense, Rayder somehow found himself separated from his friend as they made way to the booth of booze and broads. Turning around a few times attempting to find familiar faces, Rayder managed to get to the edge of the crowd. "Yeah...this isn't it." Needless to say he was a bit embarrassed, after all he was the more-sober one out of the two and yet it was the drunk who could find his way back, assuming that he did that is. In Rayder's defense, however, he didn't know where the group was to begin with. Well, there are some booths that way, so might as well try that, he thought as he began to make way back towards the dancing crowd.[/ul][/size]

Suraya’s [/size] mind freed itself with each tune played out. It was fair to say she ached mind, body and soul ached, Ryuu liked to punish her. His hands almost intone with the degradation of her very self as if his own life depended now on the destruction of hers. Her back was marked indecently, healed at last but the garish red welts would at best revert to silver looking lines. Eyes scanned the crowd again, many faces in the crowd staring towards her, feet moving and bodies gyrating. Hands freewaving as the beat stole over them. It was easy to lose yourself among the crowds here, not so easy when it appeared as if center of attention was spotlighted on the dj. Her.

Shift over she propped the bar, downing one schnapps and then another. Edison’s music choice as slamming as her own. Making her way to the dance floor she let herself go completely. Swaying with closed eyes, the beat pulsing through each vein, neglecting nothing of her as it consumed her. Wishing for a life outside of the slave / master scheme seemed like a good past time even then. On the dance floor she was lord and master or lady and mistress of her own destiny. Allowed that much surely. The music changed focus a mellower emo tune rang out, exasperated with this slow tempo Suraya left the dancefloor to repropped the all too familiar bar. It was as familiar to her as any friend. Raising a hand to get Mercury’s attention she laughed outright when the bottle slid down the bar to her. ‘Now that was service’ winking at him and sauntering off to find herself a near empty booth, she knew with the slower sets there should be plenty.

In the dark dismal lights, dimmed for the emo lovers gyrating in their make-up’d glory, wrapped about one another in utter contentment, she collided with a boy. Amusing as it seemed he looked lost. A sea full of drunken people all intent on a good time and this one looked like a life buoy was needed. Not bothering to smile, why be arsed for crying out loud she spied an actual empty booth and slid in. Heaven never felt so good as worn leather cushioned seats. Back against the wall, long limbs stretched out before her she drank from the neck. Hoping no one would take the seat opposite she surveyed the couples on the dancefloor. Her long fingers deftly removed her smokes and zippo. Inhaling deeply as she lit the cigarette, blowing out a plume of smoke as the very boy she had jostled sidled towards the booth.

Suraya [/size] was not the most talkative of girls at the best of times, time spent with Ryuu was draining her of every possible social skill her parents had once instilled in her. Sullen and morose were her make-up of late, her bed fellows were angst and anarchy. It was only when alone at night in her makeshift bed that all thoughts of retribution took hold and finally a good nights slumber was had. Whether or not she had been beaten again. The club was her escape, once upon a time she would freewheel down the streets of Crieghtone the dread of old ladies and grumpy men. The beloved skateboard broken by her master was just another statistic on a landfill.

The booze tonight was welcome, plans on mass inebriation were hers to savor and execute. She was well on her way, four glasses at the bar at least another four while playing and now a quart of the bottle. Suraya Gelfling could seriously admit she was plastered. At least tonight her dorm was where she was to return to, Ryuu obviously had plans for himself and the boy. A grimace at the thought, a reflex gagging motion immediately ensued. How Jon could bear that asshole to touch him was unfathomable but genuinely he seemed to enjoy the attentions positive and negative that their master bestowed on him. Unlike herself whose skin crawled whenever he was near. He didn't find her in any way sexually attractive and that suited her fine. The thought made her calculate in rough estimation just how much of a duration she had been without sex. Surely it wasn't four months already?

Blaming many factors such as the constant beatings and the extremely late nights as to why she had not been getting any action, Suraya did not contemplate her boyish looks. Some boys liked it, some didn't who gave a friggin' rats ass. Slightly glazed eyes looked up at the boy now, he appeared about her age she figured. Watching him sit himself into the chair opposite sans drink, drugs or nicotine she thought the guy mad. He cast a glance her way, brief unasuming. Why did he sit down here of all places? Kneeling on the seat, eyes furtively glancing about she registered that all the other booths were duly occupied. Sliding downwards, back once again along the wall as she stretched the length of the seat she inhaled once more.

Pushing the cigarette box and zippo across to him, indicating to help himself if he so wished, she placed the bottle to her glossed lips and drank heartily. Allowing the liquid to slither its wicked way down into her gut and take further control of her senses, she held the bottle out as well. Generosity had been getting a bum deal of late, it was time to bring kindness back.
"Suraya, what's your name?" nodding her head, speaking just above the music so as to be heard. Tipping ash against the tray provided she looked at him for a brief moment, let it pass before glancing out to the dancefloor. Why did these fools insist on slow dancing, it was the friggin' 21st century love had died somewhere back in the '60's.

[/b] Sticking the cigarette through his lips, Rayder inhaled deeply and pulled the smoke away. A tiny slit cracked between the lips and an off-white screen of smoke ejected from his mouth at a slow rate. Grass on paper has never felt so good as it did now. Well, maybe it has, but given the situation, he greatly appreciated what it was doing to him with the aroma hidden inside the warmth of the smoke. "Rayder," he raised his hand as a way to show his respect, "and I'm afraid I must cut this short, gotta go find me something to drink." With a nod he stood up and walked away from the booth, only to encounter a man carrying a few bottles of beer, clearly drunk enough that he should try not to die. Rayder grabbed the man by his arms and steadied him. "You don't need anymore of these." Luckily for him, the man was not an angry drunk, more like lazy, and just stumbled his way into the depth of the darkness in the room, with his beer bottles confiscated by Rayder. Turning back and sitting back down almost immediately, he placed the beer on the table. "Never mind." Opening a bottle he raised it toward the girl sitting in front of him and nodded, "Cheers."

Suraya [/size] merely gave a lopsided smile as he took a cigarette from the box lighting it up and watching the crowd as she did. He said a name and for a brief moment she wondered had she heard right. Rayder as strange as her own was. Time seemed to be an issue for him as he scrambled from his perch to leave with the intention of retrieving alcohol. Intriqued now how he would accomplish this fete at such a vast distance from the bar, Suraya continued to watch him. The swarm of people dancing prevented any relatively sane individual from attempting a coup of this magnitude. The boy must be in dire need of alcohol.

Lifting her own bottle back to her mouth she heard the loud whistle, it so couldn’t be that time already could it? Closing of the club was later than most clubs in Creighton. Three O’clock in the morning was pretty late but the whistle merely indicated the half way point or so she saw it. It was 1:30am and drinks at the bar would be ceasing, all alcoholic ones anyhow. It had been the only stipulation for them to remain open so long. Removing her mobile from her pocket she flipped the cover and texted in some well chosen words to Mercury behind the bar. In roughly ten minutes she would have a bottle of vodka and a bottle of schnapps on the table in front of her. Intoxication was the order of the day or night for that matter.

Disbelieving eyes viewed the boy as he made a return journey; her eyes trailed the length of him. It could not be helped; he was about as different as she was compared to all the sheep that had flooded the club to night. A mild chuckle as she raised her own bottle in return.
“Cheers” they could open up a chat room with the vehement rate of their verbosity. Again her eyes could not help but look at him, turning around leaning elbows on the table as another hit of her cigarette sent a plume of smoke in his direction, Suraya surveyed him closely. His method of getting drink could only mean one thing. He was a master, the enemy.
“I’ve never seen you here before” wondering why that was and why she was bothering to talk to him or wonder about him at all Suraya could only later surmise that the booze was taking affect.

[/b] Rayder put the empty bottle on the table and grabbed another bottle. "Funny how that worked out, you working here and me coming here weekly and our paths never crossed." Taking a sip, he felt more inclined to be talkative. "Suraya, is it? Odd name." Of course, his own name was just as uncommon.

Looking at her from across the table he couldn't help but notice her slim figure. The way she presented herself seemed more masculine than it did feminine, which must have been a contributing factor for Rayder's initial judgment on her gender from afar. She seemed like one of those "cool" types, calm and chill, probably easy going to a degree. This was not surprising, because it would certainly take more than a common nerd or a superficial brat to take and maintain a position as a DJ. Suddenly something caught his eye as he looked to the edge of the table to find the cigarette he had carelessly placed on the table when he left to get drinks. The bud rested calmly before his hand reached for the smoke and lifted it into the air. "Shit, must have forgotten this when I got up."

Suraya [/size] leaned against the back rest, eyes scrutinizing Rayder. Not a jock that was for sure. Brain ticking over she noted that he at least recognized her from the dj box. Most were usually too steeped in their own inebriation to bother with who tossed up the tunes for them to feast on with their feet. Incredulous she kept her gaze on him as he became more talkative. Alcohol had a funny way of loosening lips or so they said. Her eyes inadvertedly looked to his mouth watching lips move as words toppled towards her. Absentedly as if in response to his mouth, her tongue licked her own parched lips. Parched not of drink but of anothers mouth tasting it, refreshing it. Grazing and caressing it. Eyes blinked wondering where these thoughts were coming from, shifting awkwardly she drank some more as Mercury arrived depositing a full bottle of vodka.
"I'll have to go to the back room if you really want the schnapps".

Shaking her head and offering him up a thanks with a hand holding the necessaries he declined. Scowling at the boy sitting opposite her hoping that nothing came of their conversation. Walking away grumbling, Suraya became cognizant that she was still scrutinizing Rayder.
"Star" the word came out with no other meaning behind it, until she sat forward taking another drag before outing the stub in the ashtray.
"It's arabic for star. My mother loved the old Arabian night stories and decided that if she ever had children she would call them something Arabic. I got Suraya. What about Rayder?" an eyebrow quirked up in expectation of his reply but her gaze as if determined to do nothing else was once more riveted to his mouth.

At least it was, hand shooting out to pick up burning cigarette the female form watched with fascination the movement of fingers curling around the butt. A gulp, the sucking in of her lower lip. As if watching in slow motion her eyes followed the hand that brought the cigarette up into the air. Any moment to be brought to his mouth, that mouth. Exhaling as she blinked herself to reality, her own hand curled around the neck of the bottle of schnapps and drained it.

[/b] Beginning to feel the alcohol sending him up into high ground of delusional bliss and freedom, he let out a chuckle randomly. Something funny from earlier came up in his mind and it seemed so much better humor-wise when combined with alcohol.

The large dispersing crowd from moments before was now reduced down to a mere two or three dozen people, taking their exits. Noticing the silence growing louder and louder by the minute, he looked over toward the entrance and saw that now was a good time to start making his leave, as he had planned in his escape strategy. He was sure that his friends probably went on elsewhere without him, otherwise they would have brought down the club looking for him. Taking into consideration that naturally the idea of looking for him was much, much less appealing to his friends than the idea of taking the girls back to the dorms for some long rough shag, Rayder found himself perfectly comfortable with the idea of them leaving him to find his own way back.

Slapping the table with his hands, left hand landing before right hand, he made two beats while sitting up. "Well, it was nice meeting you, Star, see you next week maybe." It wasn't until then he remembered noticing her staring at him earlier on, but he still didn't think much of it. Making the motion to get up he accidentally hit the bottom of the tabletop with his knee and almost flipped the table over, though he steadied it back down before things started flying at Suraya like knives in an angry kitchen. Laughing, he apologized, "Shit, my bad. Alright, well, later."

[/size] was rarely amused by any individual and most especially not by any master which as time progressed she grew more certain that he was. After the explanation given for his name her own thoughts started freakishly dialing through all the 'raiders' she had ever heard about besides those of Indiana Jones and Lara Croft she came up a blank and though she was not in any way romantic found the possible reasoning of his parents for naming their son quaint and as her grandmother would have put it most eloquently 'precious'. The randomly timed burst of euphoria caused her to smirk covering her mouth quickly as she did so.

Rayder if she didn't know any better was drunk but Suraya was in no better a condition. An entire bottle of schnapps had been drank with abandon and the effects of such folly were taking their toll. As the music turned off completely and lights came on her view of him seemed appeased. He was actually damn cute though at this point she reminded herself any guy with a pulse was considerably hot. Her own chuckle emanated from her glossed lips as she concured that no amount of drink or drought of maleness would ever persuade her to consider Mercury as being of the 'hot persuasion'.

He stood to leave, a pang of regret hit her gut. If perhaps she had dressed in any of the items Ryuu had purchased for her. If perhaps she had applied more makeup anything at all would he have stayed longer? But leaving time for non-staff was different. She could stay at least another hour as usually she would drinking away with the barstaff and other dj's. Looking at the completely full unopened bottle of vodka, decided to just take it on back to her dorm. Head raised as his voice most audible now without music came to her. He called her star, hands did not clench this time but rather she smiled. The last unfortunate to call her this sported a black eye for at least a fortnight.

The table shook from his prowess of merely standing alone, Suraya chuckled and leaped upwards from her seat. Hand extended, fingers curling around the bottle neck.
"Sure later" her answering reply came just before two make up donned youths walked passed on their way to the exit. Stopping to view her and loudly exclaiming their wonder whether it was a boy or girl in their midst. Suraya would usually spout some witty comeback but tonight she smiled serenely at them placed the bottle on the table then lifting her ti-shirt upwards revealed two absolutely perfect breasts that had been hidden by the loose shirt and waist-coat. No denial of her gender came then as the two boys merely gawked. Lowering her top down over her flat stomach, hand stretched out once more for the bottle. Winking at Rayder she walked as steadily as possible to the door. Boys always thought it was ok to speak their goddamn minds, the urge to go back and hit them now was strong but resistance won over.

The cold air of night hit her and dizziness became a new friend as taxi passing she raised a hand to hail it. No luck as the blasted vehicle drove on. Getting a lift at this hour was always madness.

[/b] A laugh accompanied the end of the sentence, but rather than laughing at her, he was laughing because this was all very amusing for him. With the help of alcohol, no less, the level of amusement basically went from whistling to sirens.

Surveying the crowd and the street, with minimal movement of cars, he turned to her and said, "You do know that we will be here a while right? I mean, it is, wait, what time is it?" Reaching into his pocket, he dug around for a second, only to realize that he had misplaced his phone. "Where's..." Looking around on the ground he could see nothing but shoes and trash. "Maybe I left it in there..." Without any explanation, although the situation wasn't hard to figure out, he went back to the club. "Hey sorry but I think I le---" Almost immediately the man near the entrance denied him access and shooed him away. "Dude that was not cool!" Suddenly an idea struck him and he turned back toward the street, moving towards Suraya. "Hey, sorry but can I ask you a favor? I think I dropped my phone at the booth, but some asshole won't let me back in."

[/size] groaned loudly as yet another taxi sped by, stopping for a group of girls clad in tight miniskirts further along the pavement. Glaring at the absurdity of it, her hand slipped inside her trouser pocket to remove her cigarettes when beside her appeared Rayder. A grin broad on his devilish face as he spoke about her apparent hotness. Suraya surveyed him as if he had lost his neuron functions completely, an eyebrow quirked until she eventually smirked in return.
"Oh yeah I get the hot card all the time" why her innards did a badly construed version of the moondance at his use of the plural rather than the singular in connection to waiting for a taxi she did not know but had no trouble blaming it on the level of alcohol so far consumed. About to retort rather belatedly that she found his own level of 'hotness' rather intriguing she faltered as Rayder searched for some lost device.

Moments later he was gone and she shrugged, that was the extent of her luck these days it would seem with the male race. Her hand dipped into her own pocket again to retrieve her smokes and zippo only to remove in its stead the padlock to her CD case. Swearing at her collosal fuck up as it was now the third such occurence in the past month, Suraya turned with a resigned sigh to retrace her steps back into the folds of the club. Her steps did not gain much ground as Rayder stopped her once again, this time seeking a favor. A grin, a wink and she was strolling up to the door holding up the padlock for Eric to see.
"I did it again, so sue me" she smiled, the bulk of a bouncer chuckled animatedly apparently used to the absent minded Dj and this stage. A long slender hand reached back slipping around Rayders hips.
"He's with me" another smile as Eric sized up the boy for a moment then nodding stepped aside.
"What's a girl to do Eric, he thinks I'm hot" a hearty chuckle escaped her this time, guiding him inside she brought them to a stop in the lobby of the club.

"For appearances" they were side by side as she moved from hand from around his hip, knowing Eric was observing them Suraya slipped her finger tips into the waist of his pants moving closer. Green eyes smiled at him before her lips tasted his. Meant originally to be brief, it took her by surprise when her mouth seemed to stroke along his lower lip. Her tongue connecting with his own, probing the depths of his mouth with abandon. Breaking apart her body swayed momentarily, desiring nothing more than to repeat the exercise but choosing instead to retreat and gather whatever equilibrium was left to her.

"Booth is that way, I have to lock up my case in the back room over there. Oh" acting all nonchalant Suraya began to walk in the direction of the back room, "I left my smokes there too."

[/size] not believing for one minute that she had actually kissed Rayder, almost frog marched herself to the back room. What she was thinking was completely beyond her but damn it had tasted great, better than great. Knowing she would like nothing better than a repeat performance pushed open the door to the back room after giving Mercury a slight wave in passing. Motioning to the padlockonly to receive a chuckle and shake of the head. Leave him shake his frackin' head what did she care. Kicking the door out after her, leaning against it as her fingers trailed the edge of her lips. Closing eyes as if better to recall the exact moment when lips met lips she sighed. Dazedly shaking her head at how stupid she was behaving, Suraya moved to her case.

Padlock in hand repeatedly she attempted to attach it but it would not budge. Stuck was too mild a word for it, removing her waistcoat and using it to give some form of grip to her palm she continued to force the lock closed but still to no avail. Mercury arrived pushing the door ajar but she told him to get lost, she did not need his assistance that was for sure. Sullenly he retreated to the bar. Straddling the case she attempted to approach the lock from a different angle another ludicrous idea to add to her multitude. Knowing that it was her drunken state that was inabling her from securing the lock properly she swung her leg back over and sat down heavily on the case wondering it that would help any when the distinct presence of another human being was felt. Certain that it was Mercury once again and once again about to tell him to get lost, a voice startled her.

Glancing up to witness the mischievous grin, all attempts at nonchalance were futile. The girl was hooked. Moving from the case never once taking her eyes from his, Suraya walked slowly to him. An answering grin creased her own face, slender fingers curled around his top pulling him into the room, while her foot kicked the door firmly shut. It took seconds to remove her ti-shirt before her hands were assisting in the removal of his.

"Totally" face to face, bare skin almost touching. The static from the closeness vibrating through the air. Tension seeping into every pore, "for appearances".
Game,set and match as her hands cupped the waist of his pants and pulled him the last inch to her. Long fingers released their hold to slide up his back, mouth found his. Lips parting to taste, devour, tongues manipulating each other.
