Even before Star got out of the car, she had heard the music blasting a whole block away. The thudding noises of Lady GaGa's "Love Game" marred the street and Star sung along as she cruised down the street in her big black Benz. Well, let's see how this little town lives. she thought wryly as she popped up her butterfly door. Star was originally from the town Derby on the east side of New York. Known for its cute little quaint feel, Derby was a simple nice little suburban town; the kind of town you walk in feeling like everything was perfect- so postcard-pasted. However, as soon as the lights were turned off for the night, the teenagers and college students that inhabited Derby roared. Parties, sex games, you name it, Derby had it. Parents, being parents, tried to stop the madness, but of course, the kids would have none of that. No matter how much they searched their son's and daughter's Blackberry's, no parent ever found the new location of their newest party. Still, it was the sneaking around and changing locations that Star hated. Why couldn't they just have fun? She opted for the alternative route; instead of lying to her parents about where she was going, she just went. It was because of this that Star earned the infamous or famous rep, whatever you prefer, of "bad girl." Known once for her good grades and model-winning smile, Star re-astounded the people of Derby with her wild tactics and pole-stripping.
Still, what rises must fall, and after a scandal or two, Star was forced to leave her home before she tarnished her parent's rep. (Star's father was the rising church priest and her mother was the leading lady in the choir.) So know here she was. With a sudden feeling of excitement, and a sudden craving for something white and small, Star opened the door and entered inside.
Inside the house, laughter, kissing, and smoke filled the room. In every corner Star saw someone getting ready to do something, and even one couple already had their clothes off as a small mob formed around them, laughing and cheering. Star had to smile herself. In Derby, everyone was always hidden if they wanted something to happen. Walking toward the center of the drink table, swishing her hips, Star caught the attention of some, and winked wickedly. Turning toward the drink table, she surveyed her options. Vodka, wine, or beer? Not beer. she thought disgustedly, too low class. No one in the room even had a beer. The carton of Budweiser was still completely full. She settled for vodka instead, and mixed with Bacardi only. Sitting down on the nearby couch were some girls were snogging, she sipped slowly, still fighting the urge to have a small white pill. Needless to say, she honestly didn't care what pill at this moment. Suppressing her thoughts with the last of her drink, Star headed over and tapped the nearest person's shoulder and said...
»Excuse me, do you have any pills?«
