is that a tip !?
So one thing that's hard is the new rule. 250 words is not a lot and ari showed you in her example post! But I'm gonna try to help a little more, yeah? =]
Alright, its hard sometimes but we made the word count small so that its very easy! All you have to do is add thoughts and feelings and actions! Simple, yes?
For example say you wanted talk about your character liking chocolate. You could say "John liked chocolate so he accepted the piece from Jane." That would be simple. Or, to add more to your post you could add why he likes it or what he likes about it.
"John liked chocolate. His mom always gave it to him for a special treat after Sunday dinners. He would put it into his mouth and simply let it melt, enjoying ever last bit of it. He accepted the piece from Jane and did just that."
See! just by adding why he liked it and what he liked about it, you have a lot more to your post and your character!
It's quite simple loves. Just add in their thoughts and feelings. You could have a post with a lot of talking in it, but its not nearly as interesting because we don't know how your character feels about the situation. We can't see what they are thinking and we don't relate! It is much easier to post with someone when you can relate or feel what they are feeling.
So, just through some feelings and some thoughts in there and your posts with improve greatly!

Okay, so the next thing we would like to address is grammar and spelling.
We understand that the english language can be difficult with all its rules and such, but really it can be very basic!
We'll start with spelling. Now, I'm not touching on this much because there is a wonderful thing called the Spell Check! It can be found two buttons away from the post reply button. So it's readily available to you and wants to be used! Please use it! It's very simple and it will clean your posts up a lot.
Next is grammar. We aren't saying that you need to use your commas and everything correctly all the time. We simply want you to use grammar. So, here is why we get a little put off by those who don't use grammar.
So here is me not using grammar my sentence just goes on and doesn't seem to stop then you get confused because everything simply runs together you don't know where to start and where to stop you need to take a breath somewhere in here but you cant because you just keep reading this long sentence it goes on and on and eventually it just ends up as the whole paragraph and you are left reading it five times so you can understand what is going on then you read it five more times so you can create a post back to it.
See what we mean? That paragraph would be much clearer if there were starts and ends! So, before you post, read it to yourself again out loud. Then you will see where it seems to run on and where you can throw a period in there, yes? yes!
