Kayla hated what had happened at the lake. That was their special place and she had broken his heart there. Kayla was being selfish but she needed Patrick in her life still. Not because he was her first love, but he was her best friend. He had always been there for him. Kayla had bandages wrapped around her wrists. When Patrick had left her at the lake the dust covering her view of him leaving she felt horrible. Kayla had gone back to the lake and dipped her arms in the cool water. She had always carried a switchblade with her since she had her abusive masters. Kayla had taken the knife and slit both her wrists and let the blood flow out and the water heal her wounds as she wrapped them up. Raven wouldn't be happy about this, but she felt like the worst friend ever and she had to inflict some sort of pain to herself.
Kayla had walked to the outskirts to Joe's Pub and found where Patrick's apartment was. Kayla continued down the street toward Patrick's apartment. When she found it she breathed in deeply. There was no way he would let her in so she took a hair pin and picked at the lock. She heard the pin hit a few gears and stuff until it finally clicked open. Kayla slowly opened the door and walked inside the apartment. She then slowly and softly closed the door behind her. I'm technically breaking and entering but there's no way he'd let me inside on his own. Kayla reminded herself. "Patrick?" Kayla called out softly.

Patrick was still furious after he had rode of he went in search of Faith his new slave. When Patrick found Faith at Joe’s he was so furious with her disobeying him and fueled with added rage about Kayla, Patrick had gone and rapped the girl he had left her tied up naked in the bathroom he couldn’t give a fuck what happened to her afterwards. Patrick returned home with a lot of alcohol he hadn’t even seen anyone for a few days he just sat in his apartment and allowed a darkness to overflow him something that he hadn’t felt before but he kind of liked it.
Now Patrick was fast asleep empty bottles were everywhere, he had drunk himself to sleep last night starting of very slowly. Patrick didn’t give a darn what Kayla was doing right now he deleted her from his mobile list days ago quiet honestly he and Kayla were over as friends. He didn’t even want to talk to her anymore she had crushed him though he had thought of sending his bikers over to her master and beating the crap out of Kayla’s master though his friends talked him out of it which wasn’t that good right now.
Patrick herd a sound, he didn’t know who or what it was he only herd a sound outside his bedroom. Grabbing his handgun from his beside table Patrick gripped it tight as he made his way out of his bedroom. Sneaking around he spotted a figure inside his apartment calling out his name. Walking up the person he held his handgun to the woman’s head. Suddenly he noticed the figure to be Kayla. “What the fuck are you doing here Kayla? I told you to fuck of. Now kindly piss of before I get extremely mad at you.” Patrick grabbed Kayla’s shoulder and pushed her to the door.

Kayla didn't flinch when she felt a gun to her head. She knew that Patrick would react this way. After all, she did just break into his apartment. Kayla looked to Patrick and smiled to him sadly. Kayla just wanted to talk, she had heard from Joe that Patrick had raped his new slave and that he had left her in the bathroom. That had happened a few days ago, the same day she had broken his heart. Well Kayla came to fix it. Well, fix it as best as she could in the given circumstance. She heard a thud as her back hit the door when Patrick pushed her to it. He was telling her to go away, but Kayla didn't want to nor did she really feel that it was good to leave.
"Patrick, please...I know what you did to Faith. You're new slave. Honestly I don't care that you raped her I feel bad though because I was the one who was at fault and as a result she got the brunt of it. Instead of being mad at her for whatever reason, but increasing that negative emotion and then throwing it out on her is wrong. You should've thrown that anger at me back at the lake Patrick. Look, I did something I'm not proud of and I made it worse on myself, but never mind about that." Kayla said as she moved on.
"Patrick, you and I have been the best of friends since practically forever. We've had our ups and downs, our fights our make-ups. Why can't this be the same? Okay I know why, but isn't it just another fight that we can get over. It won't be easy, but we could get over it couldn't we?" Kayla asked. "Patrick, please if you love me...why can't you be happy for me? I thought that we were best friends, friends who would be happy for one another?" Kayla said as she looked to Patrick her hands gripping her arms where she cut herself.

Patrick didn’t want Kayla to be here in the first place, all around them there were empty alcohol bottles some broken some not. Patrick wasn’t worried about the bottle right about now all he cared about was getting Kayla out of his apartment so he could go about his day in peace. Patrick herd Kayla mention that she was told about what he did with Faith. “That’s none of you’re concern what I did with Faith.” Patrick replied as he slammed the gun down onto his table the same table that he fucked Val on. Patrick wondered what Kayla wanted though there was nothing that Patrick had wanted from Kayla anymore Kayla could just go back to her beloved master for all he cared. Patrick just listened to Kayla as she continued to talk, couldn’t she just shut up for once in her life.
“This nothing like the old times where we’ve just made up. You’re the one who fucking crushed my heart Kayla I don’t give a fuck what you want anymore the way I see it we’re through. We’re no longer friends get that through you’re head. Why don’t you go back to you’re fucking master I bet he misses you.” Patrick yelled back he didn’t even care if her hands were bandaged up. “I DON’T LOVE YOU ANYMORE.” Patrick yelled this time he lost it he walked over towards Kayla and punched her in the face. Patrick turned away darkness has completely overtaken him now and it was Kayla’s fault everything was if she wanted to be friends with Patrick she could have seen that he loved her in the first place.

Kayla stumbled back and slid down against the door when Patrick punched her in the face. The force of it caused blood to drip from her mouth. Kayla didn't mind the pain at all, it was comforting actually. It made her feel better that Patrick was mad at her and that he wanted to make her hurt for what she did to him. Kayla knew that she was at fault for a lot of things. However there was something Kayla heard from Patrick that she knew was wrong. I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE! those words rang through her head, and she knew Patrick well enough to know that even if he said that and even if he thought he meant it it didn't hurt Kayla at all. If he had said that he didn't love her and meant it she would've said that it was okay and that she understood. It wouldn't have changed anything between them except that their bond would've either broken completely, or it would be stronger because they would still care about each other. At least that was what Kayla had imagined. "You're right...it can't ever be like old times. I'm just being selfish...wanting it to be like that because I want you to still be there for me." Kayla said as she undid the bandage on her right arm where the would had opened again and blood spilled out slowly.
"You always had a way of saying things that you meant...and I don't believe that bull shit your spouting Patrick. Because if you didn't love me anymore, your words wouldn't be masked by hatred. I know you Patrick, you still love me, but you can't get past that I fell in love with Raven." Kayla mumbled. "I actually told Raven that same night that you should've been the one to save me, that you were supposed to be the one I was owned by, but instead it was Raven. And I was being selfish again saying those things. And then he said that he would leave and it hurt just like I hurt you, and then I realized that I couldn't be in love with two people. Two people who I couldn't choose between until then... Kayla didn't care if she was losing a lot of blood. She deserved to feel pain and she only wanted to keep her bond with Patrick, and she could feel it was still there, still strong and that she couldn't leave him hurt.

Patrick wanted to be alone couldn’t Kayla see that? “I want you gone Kayla I don’t give a fuck what you want but what I want is for you to be gone out of my sight fir good.” Patrick replied to Kayla. Patrick would do anything to shut Kayla up he didn’t know what she wanted from him, girls they say they love you and care about you but when you pour you’re feelings out they just want to be friends it’s jut an excuse they give you just so they can use you some more well that’s what Patrick thought anyway.
Patrick looked at his hands for a moment they were covered with blood, looking back at Kayla he noticed that he caused her to bleed when he hit her but he didn’t care that he made her bleed she crushed his heart so he had to give her pay back. “Look Kayla what more do you want from me? I mean you love Raven but you don’t love me but you still want to be friends? What the fuck? I don’t love you I want nothing more than to get you out of my life so kindly leave.” Patrick replied back to Kayla.
Patrick turned and was about to head back to his bedroom when he herd Kayla speak once more. Growing angry at Kayla, Patrick charged towards her and picked her up. Throwing Kayla over his shoulder Patrick walked over towards his door and opened it. Patrick then threw Kayla to the ground and walked back into his apartment slamming the door shut. Kayla could easily walk back in he didn’t lock the door. Opening his bedroom door Patrick dived onto his bed wanting to go back to sleep.

Kayla didn't struggled when Patrick picked her up and threw her over his shoulder, throwing her out his apartment and slamming the door. Kayla wasn't going to give up. There was no way she could. Patrick was still her friend and she needed him to understand. Though she knew that Patrick didn't like what she did and she didn't like it either, she hated breaking his heart. Kayla got back up and walked back in. She finally noticed the bottles on the ground and knew that Patrick would've been drinking, drinking a lot. Kayla stepped over the bottles as she made her way toward Patrick's room. Without saying anything she walked into his room and sat on Patrick's bed. Where his face was sunk in the bed. "I'm not going until we try and work things out." Kayla said. Kayla wasn't giving up. She knew that Patrick still felt that bond it was just something was blinding it from him. Kayla could always tell how Patrick was. And there was nothing he could do to make her leave. The wound on her other arm opened up and blood dripped down both her arms onto the floor.
Kayla sat and waited for Patrick to hurt her, make her feel pain, anything to let him throw out his anger. She knew Patrick, even if his anger would take much longer to diffuse. Kayla sat as the smell of blood started filling the room, mixed with alcohol. Kayla looked to Patrick knowing that he would probably hurt her more, but she would take it all, she would endure everything just to see his smile, just to be able to see him happy again. Happy like when they had reunited.
"Patrick, please talk to me?" Kayla asked in a soft pleading voice. Kayla wanted to comfort him like he had done so many times. Kayla still wanted to be there for him like he had been there for her. I really want everything to be the same again. I want Patrick to understand.

Patrick just lay on his bed wanting nothing more than to fall asleep and forget the world. Patrick didn’t care that he just threw Kayla out the door and slammed it in her face though he knew that she could easily walk back into his apartment she broke in the first place and of course he didn’t lock the door after he threw her out. “Piss off.” Patrick said to Kayla as he rolled over his back was facing her now he closed his eyes trying to forget that Kayla was even sitting on his bed. Memories flooded his mind from when they were kids, this particular memory was when he was waiting for Kayla to get dresses and he was talking with her Gran.
Kayla’s Gran was telling him that he should man up and ask Kayla out on a date though he remembered telling Kayla’s Gran that he didn’t know if Kayla felt the same way. The memory vanished from his mind as he herd Kayla’s voice speaking to him and he remembered where he was. He had a headache from the previous night drinking and Kayla’s constant nagging him was really causing a much larger headache than the hangover did. “Kayla get this through you’re head I don’t ever want to see you again now piss of.” Patrick said as he closed his eyes again trying to get to sleep. Patrick didn’t know what the time was he didn’t really care about that it could be in the afternoon for all he cared. When Patrick drunk he loved to sleep all day that and have a huge greasy meal.

Kayla sighed. "Okay...I can't make you see things the same anymore. I'll go, just don't expect me to be the same if you come to say sorry Patrick Dimtri Schreyer. I won't come back anymore. I love you Patrick, you're family. You've been my best friend since forever. And I hope that we can fix things when you're willing to understand what I'm saying. I'm sorry Patrick. And if you never see me again, just think of it as I couldn't handle anything because you weren't here to help me." Kayla said as she stood up and looked to Patrick as she took off her shirt and ripped it apart so she could wrap her arms up again. Kayla felt broken now, she didn't know how Raven could help her. But she probably would stop talking completely for now. Her voice wasn't heard by her best friend so how could she expect anyone else to hear her voice, her pleas. Kayla looked again to Patrick. "Goodbye Patrick. I hope that you'll forgive me, but if not. I hope you find someone better than me." Kayla said as she walked out of Patrick's room. She stepped on the bottles on the ground as she limped out of the apartment. She closed the door and started crying. She didn't wanted her friendship with Patrick to die, she wanted it to stay, but she knew that it was impossible now. Goodbye Patrick...forever until you decide that I'm important to you again. Kayla told herself as she walked away form the apartment.
