Patrick rode his bike down the road he was going to the mall he needed somw things and plus he was hungry as well, so what better place to go when you where hungry and don't want to cook. Patrick would have thought that the mall would've have banned him and his gang from ever coming there ever again but he was surprised that they still let him and his gang to go there. Patrick could see the mall up ahead he smiled it was the afternoon about four or something and he had just woken up, he had been out drinking last night he didn't know what he did but he could remember going to the pool and meeting two chicks there. Patrick parked his bike and climbed off. Locking up his bike so no one could steal it but then again who would be game enough to even try and steal it.
Patrick had seven hundred members of his gang living right here in the city, then there were at least thousands others spread all around America so it would be pretty insane for someone to even try and steal his bike. Patrick took out his black sunglasses and placed them on he grinned and made his way into the mall, looking around Patrick found the food court he sighed he was getting hungry. Grabbing himself some Chinese Patrick sat down. It didn't take Patrick long to finish his plate he stood up and placed his empty plate in the bin though when he turned to make his way to the stores he needed to visit, Patrick walked into someone. "Sorry love." Patrick said though when he looked back at the girl he walked into he couldn't believe who it was. "Kayla? Is that you?" Patrick asked the girl.

Kayla had gone to the mall for the first time in a LONG time. The last time she went to the mall was when her grandmother took her shopping for clothes back in middle school. She had gotten lost a few times looking for stores she was trying to find and eventually gave up and stopped and had something to eat. She had gotten some sushi and ate silently by herself. She took out her list of shops and shopping items and looked at the map she had gotten. After Kayla finished eating her food she continued to find all the stores she was trying to find and finally found where they were and at least had an idea of how to get there now. Kayla marked the stores on her map and stood up. She took her plate and threw it away. She didn't notice but a boy was right by her and once she started walking he had to, casing them to bump into each other. "Oh I'm sorry." Kayla apologized. When she finally looked to the boy she thought he was familiar like a shadow from her childhood almost. Then the boy spoke and asked if she was 'Kayla'. Kayla raised an eyebrow in suspicion. "My name is Kayla, this is true, but do I know you?" Kayla asked in an almost rhyme which made Kayla giggle softly at her little speech pattern. Kayla looked to the boy and wondered if she knew him from somewhere. He seemed very familiar but she couldn't remember. I guess four years of abusing servitude has made me forget anything from before high school. Kayla told herself.

Patrick couldn’t believe it, he was now standing before an childhood friend that he hadn’t seen in years though he knew it was Kayla there was no mistaking it, he wondered how she had been for all these years apart though there was only one way to find out the question that he had just asked in his mind. Patrick smiled at Kayla how could she forget him? “Kayla it’s Patrick.” Patrick explained. Patrick looked back at her wondering if she had remembered him by now. Patrick though that maybe his first name wouldn’t be good enough to jog her memory maybe Kayla needed a little bit more information it had been several years since he had seen her after all. “Patrick Schreyer from elementary school we were best friends but ever since we got into high school we’ve seen less and less of each other. I’m surprised you’ve forgotten all about me.”
Patrick explained further to Kayla, maybe now with that little bit more information would be able to job her memory. Patrick had wondered what he become of Kayla but with him dropping out of high school and building up his biker gang he had lost track of Kayla but he was glad that he was now standing beside her. “You remember me now?” Patrick added in wondering. Patrick smiled and took a sip from the bottle of coke that was in his hands. “What have you been up to Kayla? Last time we saw each other was in freshman year at high school.” Patrick continued to speak. Patrick fell silent as he waited for a response from Kayla before speaking once more.

Kayla looked to the boy and knew he was familiar. Like an old memory, something that had been long forgotten since she had become a slave in high school. The name Patrick sounded familiar, but it was such a common name she didn't really see a connection, but she felt one. And a strong connection at that. Kayla listened to Patrick as he explained further. He was convinced that they knew each other, and after Patrick explained their relationship she knew who he was. Kayla couldn't believe it after four years of torture she finally reunited with her childhood friend Patrick Schreyer. How could she have forgotten about him. They were always with each other since elementary school. But ever since the status change and her abuse she never saw him after the beginning of freshman year. Seeing him made her want to cry into his arms. He had always protected her and she missed him. Kayla started crying silently as she hugged Patrick. "Patrick...I'm so weak...I missed you...I needed you and I couldn't get help from you like back then...I didn't want you to get hurt...so I forgot about you..." Kayla cried.
It was true. She had protected him, or hoped that she was protecting Patrick by keeping him out of her life. Her masters had constantly abused her until now, and they didn't want her near any boy or any girl. She was their prized virgin slave that they kept selling off to different people and she kept running, and she always ran for Patrick until she forgot where to find him and how to find him. Then the running was really just to escape to anywhere. Kayla continued to cry not sure how Patrick would react but hoped that he would embrace her and calm her down like way back when.

Patrick looked back at Kayla glad that she had finally remembered who he was. Patrick was so glad that he had been reunited with Kayla though she looked different now somehow something had changed and Patrick wanted to know why. Patrick had changed now, Kayla had got to know the kind person that Patrick was before now he had turned into an outlaw though it was the police’s fault that Patrick turned out this way. Patrick had moved around because his father was a General though it had always disappointed Patrick that he couldn’t find Kayla and tell her his new address and phone number wherever he looked Kayla was no where to be found even the school teachers wouldn’t tell Patrick where she was, he even asked the principle but nothing.
His fear where confirmed even more so when Kayla started to cry and speak, Patrick just stepped forward and embraced Kayla wanting to hurt those who had obviously hurt Kayla. “I’ve missed you too Kayla the school wouldn’t even tell me were you where. I moved out of town but moved back dropped out of high school and some things happened but I’m so glad that I’ve run into you now.” Patrick explained as he continued to hug Kayla his childhood friend. “What’s wrong? What’s happened? Tell me everything Kayla.” Patrick explained wanting to know why she was now crying in his arms. Patrick wondered if he could tell Kayla everything that’s happened to him though the biker jacket with the Phoenix Warriors symbol on the back would be a big give away.

Kayla continued to cry until she listened to Patrick's voice. He wanted to know what had happened to her and she was only too eager to tell him. There was so much for her to tell him and she knew that was the same for Patrick. Kayla calmed herself down with Patrick's help as he returned her embrace. There was still a sense of comfort, kindness and safety that Kayla always felt when she was with Patrick. Kayla looked to Patrick and wiped away her tears forcing a smile for him because she knew how Patrick liked it when she smiled.
"When we got to high school and were put into the slave market system they put me as a slave for various reasons. I didn't have a student master, I had two masters who were abusive and constantly sold me off and stole me back because I was a virgin. I'm lucky that I still am. Well they didn't let me go anywhere or be with anyone even my friends while I lived under their house and rules. I was allowed to go to school, but the rest of my life was just being locked up in a dark basement most the time. They had told me that if I wanted to be a good girl and not get hurt or have to watch the people I care about get hurt that I would stay away from everyone. So I distanced myself from you Patrick, just so I didn't have to see you get hurt because of me. You always protected me when we were kids and it was my time to protect you. I tried to run away to you, but I would never make it and after the first year of looking, I gave up and I forgot about you." Kayla explained.
"The school isn't allowed to tell others who belongs to who, and more over my masters specifically told them I was not allowed to socialize so of course the school wouldn't tell you where I was. Four years I lived like that. I'm a freshman in college now, and I have a new master. Gran asked him to save me as her dying wish and if she died before he could get me back then he would take me as his slave. I have no more family Patrick..." Kayla said as she clung onto Patrick not crying but just holding on to him.

Patrick just listened to Kayla as she cried in his arms, something had happened to her and Patrick wanted to beat the living crap out of whoever did hurt Kayla, who would want to hurt something so innocent as Kayla? Patrick remembered their childhood he had protected her from everything from bullies to creeps she was there when he started training in martial arts going to tournaments and cheering him on. Patrick smiled back as Kayla calmed herself down he smiled again as she smiled back at him, that smile could stop wars Patrick thought to himself as he wondered if Kayla was now ready to explain to him what had been going on ever since they got separated at high school. Patrick had missed Kayla very much he had never forgotten her. Patrick never had forgotten Kayla but it was hard when they entered high school he didn’t even know that she had become a slave.
Now everything had become clear as Kayla explained everything to him. So her masters abused her from the moment that they had brought her. Patrick had done some mean stuff as a master but after hearing everything from Kayla Patrick just grew angry. “I’m so sorry Kayla but you know I would’ve protected you. If I hadn’t moved away from town you could’ve come to me and I could’ve helped you out.” Patrick explained. “Kayla they put me in the master position, I’ve got two slaves already.” Patrick explained as he wanted to tell her everything that happened to him in the past. “I dropped out of high school and became an outlaw. I stared up a biker gang, you know the Phoenix Warriors? I run them.” Patrick explained.

Kayla listened to Patrick as he had listened to her. She frowned as he told her that he dropped out. It bothered her that he would do that, but as long as he was happy, she was fine with whatever choices he made. "Patrick, even if you hadn't moved away I wouldn't have come to you, just to protect you I would have still kept myself and push you away when I didn't want to, just knowing that I had to protect you." Kayla repeated when Patrick told her she could've gone to him. Even if she could, she really wouldn't have. Back then she didn't want anything bad to happen to Patrick. She listened as Patrick told her that he was a master with two slaves now. Kayla frowned when he told her that he was an outlaw. He apparently had changed, but so had she, though she was able to retain her former self during the four abusive years as a slave she didn't even know how she managed that. Kayla nodded when Patrick told her about the Phoenix Warriors. If anything, she at least heard of them And Patrick ran them.
"Well, seems like you've gotten into the whole bad boy business, what happened to the fun loving and adventurous boy who would always hike in the mountain behind Gran's summer home in the forest by Silver Lake?" Kayla asked jokingly. "My life's been a bit better know. My master isn't abusive...though he doesn't like it when I refuse him in public. And he expects me to be lady like. You've known me long enough, tell me I can't be a lady." Kayla said. She actually wondered if Patrick would disagree with her. But he had known her long enough and if he hadn't forgotten her all this time she knew that he probably would agree with her.

Patrick wondered what Kayla would have thought of him when he told her everything that’s happened to him. Patrick nodded at Kayla’s reply he didn’t like the fact that he moved and wasn’t able to protect Kayla anymore though he listened further to Kayla. “Kayla if I’ve known I would have come and helped you I wouldn’t care if anyone hurt me as long as you’re safe that was all that mattered to me." Patrick sighed when his thoughts turned to Kayla’s grandmother he wondered why she didn’t come and find him, Patrick would’ve dropped everything at once and come to Kayla’s rescue even if it meant to buy her of the slave market Patrick would do anything for Kayla anything at all.
Patrick smiled when Kayla spoke up once more he listened as she asked what happened to the fun loving adventurous boy she once knew. “He changed Kayla. I guess everyone has gone to a few changes. My dad is a General now coming the ground forces in Iraq. I did think of joining the army when I dropped out of high school though that’s when I met Danny and Mike. We met at Joe’s pub you know the one just outside town. We all started talking and formed the Phoenix Warriors right there and then. I’ve now got seven hundred members in this town and thousands across America. Danny’s in New York forming another branch there.” Patrick explained. Patrick felt easy to explain things when he was talking to Kayla.

"Well I'm glad things are working out for you and your dad. Me on the other hand well let's just say my family has dwindled to the last remaining 'heir'," Kayla said putting air quotes up when she said heir. Kayla was the last Summers in her family tree and she knew that would become a problem for her. "I would've preferred Gran to have called you, but I guess she didn't know so she called in a pro to come save me. I guess I've changed a bit too. Not much, but I seem to have a don't disturb reaction."
"Hey Patrick if I told you I had my first kiss what would you say?" Kayla asked in curiosity. Kayla knew that if her grandmother had called Patrick she would feel safer instantly even happy that she was Patrick's slave, she wasn't sure if he would treat her like one, but she knew that he probably wouldn't. And if he asked her to do something she probably wouldn't question it much because she trusted Patrick more than anyone else she knew. Patrick was closer to her than even Raven. And she had started to feel close but being back with Patrick made her feel happy. Kayla waited for Patrick to answer her question. She remembered a long time ago when they were in middle school she didn't like Patrick being near other girls. She was jealous sometimes when his attention wasn't on her. Kayla knew why and she wasn't sure if she still felt that way toward Patrick, all she knew was that they were close and they needed to spend more time together now that they finally caught up.

Patrick listened Kayla hating himself right about now, he really hopped that he didn’t move away all those years ago then Kayla’s Gran could have found him then Patrick would’ve come and rescued Kayla from everything that happened to her though life had a funny way of turning things around he wouldn’t have guessed that today would be the day that he would be finally reuniting with Kayla, he only came here because he was hungry and needed some more supplies like food and other stuff not in his wildest dreams did he ever think Kayla would be here at the exact place and time. “I’m sorry for what happened to you’re Gran, she was always kind and caring to me she didn’t deserve what happened to her.” Patrick replied back to Kayla
Patrick listened to Kayla as she said she would’ve preferred Gran to have called him instead of a pro. Patrick would’ve liked to meet this pro he wondered if he was going to protect Kayla like he had done all those years ago but now that he had been reunited with Kayla. Patrick turned back to Kayla as she told him that she had her very first kiss already. Patrick just looked back at Kayla he kind of wished that her first kiss was with him he suspected that Kayla’s Gran had always pressed him to ask Kayla out since they had been so close, he remembered the talks he had with Kayla’s Gran while he waited for Kayla. “Well I would be incredibly jealous Kayla.” Patrick replied back.

"I actually hoped back in middle school that you would be my first kiss Patrick," Kayla said as she looked shyly at Patrick slightly. "I mean Gran always pushed me to tell you how I felt back then. I wanted to tell you but I was afraid that you wouldn't like me like that. That I was just your friend." Kayla said looking down at her feet. Her shyness overshadowed her normal outgoing personality. Her feelings always confused her and she knew right now that Patrick needed to know that she liked him more than a friend. Kayla looked up at Patrick and heard what he had said. About being jealous. She smiled and could tell that he liked her at least a little bit.
Kayla looked around and wasn't sure if Patrick had to go anywhere. "Hey do you want to walk around? I mean we're still kinda standing by the trash can." Kayla said as she pushed Patrick backwards slowly. She really missed being around Patrick. "Do you need to go anywhere? If so do you mind if I tag along. I have to go get some books myself." Kayla said taking Patrick's hand hoping that he would let her accompany him through the mall. Kayla had never in her wildest dreams thought that she would see Patrick again. Especially here and now at the mall. Kayla's happiness was growing and she knew that it was because of Patrick.

Patrick looked back at Kayla as she explained to him that she hopped that he would be her first kiss back in middle school. “You’re Gran always sat me down and had a huge talk to me asking if I ever was going to ask you out on a date.” Patrick replied. “I guess you’re Gran always saw through us no matter what we’re doing.” Patrick added in. Patrick was saddened that Kayla’s Gran had died he didn’t know that she did well he would be going to visit her grave the woman did so much for Patrick when he was growing up. Patrick remembered the time that his parents had to go overseas for a couple of weeks and Patrick went to live with Kayla.
“I hopped that you were going to be my first kiss as well Kayla I never had the guts to ask you out all those years ago because I was afraid you might say no.” Patrick explained further to Kayla. Patrick listened in closer to Kayla as she asked him if he had anything to do here in the mall instead of standing next to a trash can. “Well I had some shopping to do. I’ve ran out of food and some other stuff want to tag along while I shop? We can get you’re books first if you like.” Patrick replied to Kayla he was very glad that he would be spending some more time with his childhood friend.

Kayla giggled softly as Patrick explained to her about what her grandmother did. "Yeah, Gran could see right through anyone. Especially us. And I'm sure she's watching us still, smiling that we were able to see each other again." Kayla said with a warm smile. She smiled when Patrick told her that he hoped that she would be his first kiss. "Well have you had your first kiss yet?" Kayla asked Patrick with a playful smile. If he hadn't she wouldn't mind giving Patrick a pleasurable first kiss. Even though hers was taken by Raven she could still kiss Patrick if he hadn't had his first kiss. Even if he had, she would like to at least share one kiss with Patrick. After all she was thought that a kiss with Patrick would make Kayla feel special. They were already so close. They were just afraid that they would be rejected so they were never able to get past the best friend level. Even now she wasn't sure if they would get past the best friend level. Kayla listened to Patrick as he said he needed to get a few things and asked if she wanted to tag along. Kayla smiled. "I would love to tag along. No way are you getting rid of me yet mister, not after four years." Kayla said. She knew that Patrick was older than her, but she didn't care, they had always been close. It was probably because they're parents were friends and thus they became fast friend. Kayla smiled. "Well?"

Patrick watched as Kayla giggled about what he said with her Gran, he was just so glad that he had finally been reunited with her once more. “Yeah you’re Gran was always there for us when we needed her. I bet she is still there looking out for us, watching whatever we do I always knew there was someone looking out for me I guess I know who now. There were times when I didn’t think I’ll be able to pull through but eventually I did.” Patrick explained to Kayla. Kayla and Patrick had good times, some bad but that’s what friendship was always about there were good mixed in with the bad but mostly good. Patrick listened to what Kayla had to say next about his first kiss.
Patrick remembered back when he was seventeen his first ever kiss was with a girl that he had loved that was back in high school. Though the girl that Patrick dated moved away well kind of was forced to move away her parents didn’t like Patrick and his bad attitude though there were other girls who did like his bad boy image. “Well I did have my first kiss back in high school a couple of weeks before I dropped out. I was seventeen when it happened.” Patrick explained. Patrick couldn’t lie to Kayla, he never could she could always see right through him same as he could always see right through her. “I wouldn’t dare to dream of getting rid of you Kayla.” Patrick added in.
